Representatives from international organisations, governments, business, academia, as well as the investment, philanthropic and entrepreneurial community that share our mission will be invited to sit in the Headquarters.
The building will be divided into three main areas:
One area will provide offices for NGOs, start-ups, educational institutions, as well as laboratories and research facilities. Start-ups, NGOs and other interest groups with limited financial capacity will benefit from significantly subsidised rents.
A second area will be office space for rent to ocean-based industries, including aquaculture, offshore oil and gas, marine renewable energy, maritime transport, fisheries and deep-seabed mining.
The third area will be open to the public and will include a large conference center, an exhibition hall, a showroom for new technology, restaurants and cafés. The building will host a hotel with both short and long-stay rooms for conference participants, guest researchers and staff working on projects of limited duration.
