The Green Shipping Programme aims to find scalable solutions for efficient and environmentally friendly shipping. The results will be cost-effective emission cuts, economic growth, increased competitiveness, and new jobs in Norway.

Oceanographic Institute
The OI pursues a mission of environmental outreach, to promote knowledge, protection and sustainable management of the oceans on numerous projects on the national and international scene as symposia, exhibitions, educational programmes, management and operation of the oceanographic museum, digital initiatives.
Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation
The Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation is dedicated to the protection of the environment and the promotion of sustainable development on a global scale. The Foundation supports initiatives of public and private organizations, in the fields of research and studies, technological innovation and socially-aware practices.
Ocean&Arctic (Hav&Arktis)
The Centre for the Ocean and the Arctic works towards sustainable value creation from the ocean. It puts the ocean on the agenda, and contribute to achieving the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. It also facilitate partnerships for building sustainable blue business.
Scientific Center of Monaco
Dedicated to scientific research, fundamental and applied, the work developed by the teams of the Scientific Center of Monaco are grouped into three departments: Department of Marine Biology, Department of Polar Biology, and Department of Medical Biology.
Seabed 2030
Seabed 2030 is a collaborative project between The Nippon Foundation and GEBCO to inspire the complete mapping of the world’s ocean by 2030, and to compile all bathymetric data into the freely available GEBCO Ocean Map.

SINTEF is one of Europe’s largest independent research organisations. It has a broad, multidisciplinary research organisation with international top-level expertise in the fields of technology, the natural sciences, medicine and the social sciences.
SPREP
SPREP is the regional organisation established by the Governments and Administrations of the Pacific charged with protecting and managing the environment and natural resources of the Pacific.

The Ocean Foundation’s mission is to support, strengthen, and promote those organizations dedicated to reversing the trend of destruction of ocean environments around the world. They focus their collective expertise on emerging threats in order to generate cutting edge solutions and better strategies for implementation.
UN Environment Programme
The United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) is the leading global environmental authority that sets the global environmental agenda, promotes the coherent implementation of the environmental dimension of sustainable development within the United Nations system, and serves as an authoritative advocate for the global environment.
UNESCO-IOC
The Intergovernmental Oceanographic Commission of UNESCO (IOC) is the United Nations body responsible for supporting global ocean science and services. The IOC enables its 150 Member States to work together to protect the health of our shared ocean by coordinating programmes in areas such as ocean observations, tsunami warnings and marine spatial planning.
University of Bergen
The University of Bergen (UiB) is Norway’s largest marine university, with research and education of a high international standard and several world leading research environments. It hosts the Norwegian Ocean Observation Laboratory and the marine cluster at Marineholmen.
University of Tromsø
UiT The Arctic University of Norway is the third largest in Norway and the northernmost university of the world. Climate change, the exploitation of Arctic resources and environmental threats are topics of great public concern, and which the University of Tromsø takes special interest in.
World Economic Forum/ C4IR Ocean
C4IR Ocean has a global mandate to use the advances of fourth industrial revolution technologies for the benefit of a productive and healthy ocean and to improve the environmental footprint of ocean industries.
World Maritime University
The World Maritime University offers unique postgraduate educational programmes, undertakes wide-ranging research in maritime and ocean-related studies, and continues maritime capacity building in line with the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
WWF Norway
WWF is a global environmental organization. They work for a future where humans live in harmony with nature, and where no animals or other species will die out due to human actions.
