The vessel will have state of the art communication capabilities to support the production of scientific and documentary photo, video, audio, and graphic design projects. This includes cameras, audio recording devices, computer workstations, editing suites, and network storage space.

Specific equipment is still being sourced, but participants should expect similar or better facilities that would be found in the new research vessels and commercial production studios.
